This legendary fort is very well known, for its magnificent architecture and the benevolent kings who ruled from this palace. But on certain full moon nights, this place becomes the fort where, an innocent nephew was mercilessly murdered by his evil, conniving uncle. One can hear cries of “kaka mala vachva’ (uncle please save me) from this fort on such nights. Screams and cries is almost a daily occurrence and the fort is believed to be haunted by spirits of all the soldiers who dies here in a fire.
