India by far, seems to have a number of world heritage sites deemed to be so by the UNESCO. The main reason for the same would be the fact that our country has a benevolent history of great rulers, skillful architecture and splendid monuments, that the celebrated dynasties left behind as souvenirs. This was the first tomb on the Indian Subcontinent. Built by using red sandstone on such a large scale, it makes for one of the most photographed sites and rightfully so.
